Employment trends in the Free State of Bavaria 2017 : Part II: Representative analyses on the basis of the IAB Establishment Panel 2017
Abstract
"Since 2001, the Free State of Bavaria has participated with a supplementary sample in the annual company survey 'Beschäftigungstrends' (Employment Trends), the so-called Establishment Panel of the Institute for Employment Research (Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung, IAB) of the Federal Employment Agency.1 With this panel survey conducted by Kantar Public (Infratest Sozialforschung), there exist representative data from 1,185 Bavarian companies and offices with at least one employment relationship subject to social insurance contributions (unweighted cases) from 2017. After weighting, they are representative for the Free State of Bavaria. As in the previous years, the International Institute for Empirical Social Economics (Internationales Institut für Empirische Sozialökonomie, INIFES) presents the Bavarian State Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Family and Integration and the Bavarian regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency with a comprehensive analysis of the Bavarian Establishment Panel 2017.<br> As in the previous years, the results presentation is divided into two reports (part I and part II).
