International programme in survey and data science

Abstract

"The International Program in Survey and Data Science (IPSDS) aims at meeting the increasing requirement for qualified staff in the field of data surveying and data analysis by means of an extra-occupational course of studies. Unlike many other further training options, the programme draws strongly on modern forms of asynchronous and synchronous learning to accommodate persons in employment as well as persons with family responsibilities. The course of studies was supported by financial assistance from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the framework of the tender 'Advancement through Education: Open Universities'."
