German workers benefit from international trade ┐ but not all of them
Abstract
"The German manufacturing sector benefits from the opportunities to sell their products at foreign markets, while at the same time it experiences competition from abroad. The effects on individual employees depend on which of those two aspects is predominant in the respective industry. In this report, we analyze how individual employees adjust if their jobs are threatened by competition from abroad." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
