Doing mixed methods: integrative method approaches in organisational research

Abstract

"The article offers a practice-orientated overview of the possibilities of mixed methods in organisational research, which supports researchers in planning and carrying out research schemes with integrative method approaches. Based on own research experience, it is discussed (a) how a mixed-method design can be planned and implemented; (b) how mixed-methods approaches can be used to minimize practical problems both in quantitative and qualitative sampling as well as in quantitative and qualitative data collection, and (c) how an integrative interpretation of data can be carried out."
