The employment rate of recently graduated youth in Europe: In some countries starting working life is harder than in others
Abstract
"This Kurzbericht describes a new indicator created by the European Commission, which aims to capture the success of school-to-work transitions in European countries. It analyzes in an international context the employment rates of young individuals (ages 20-34) who have completed at least upper-secondary education within the last three years. The report highlights differences in the labor market conditions for recent graduates across countries and discusses reasons for the heterogeneity." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
