Minimum wage * theoretical overview

Abstract

"In this paper the author examines a problem of minimum wage introduction from the theoretical point of view. We discuss a minimum wage introduction in various labor market models such as: 'neoclassical' model, labor market monopsony, 'efficiency wage' theory, and 'good' vs. 'bad' job theory. Various labor and goods market problems after the minimum wage introduction will be discussed in the paper. In conclusion we give suggestions for further research on the topic."
