Employment trends in Bavaria 2010 : part II: Representative analyses on the basis of the IAB Establishment Panel 2010
Abstract
"The report is based on information provided in interviews with the owners or personnel managers of 1,197 representatively chosen establishments in Bavaria (period of survey June to October 2010) within the framework of the annual, countrywide surveys of the IAB Establishment Panel. The Bavarian Ministry for Employment and Social Order, the Family and Women in cooperation with the Regional Directorate for Bavaria of the Federal Employment Agency (BA) has tasked the International Institute for Empirical Social Economics (INIFES) with the evaluation of this data. As in the year before, the 2010 Report will be presented in two parts. The first part of the report, issued at the beginning of May, contains the results of the topics/focal points of the interviews as regards basic data, the development of employment, the economic situation (2009) and developments/crisis, personnel structure and training/taking on those trained at establishments. The current second part of the report contains chapters on personnel policy, working time, investments and innovation as well as a number of analyses in more depth." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku)
