Tense economic situation affects regional labor markets differently

Abstract

"Forecasts of the development of regional labor markets or at the federal level may differ due to differences in structural characteristics such as the economic or demographic structure. Therefore, the IAB provides forecasts for individual federal states and employment agency districts. These results are discussed in this report. All regional labor markets are currently being affected by the difficult economic situation. The positive trend in insured employment is no longer evident in all regions and unemployment is increasing in almost all federal states." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
