Abstract

The focus of the project are firm-level analyses of adjustment in course of the recently introduced minimum wage in Germany. Using mainly the IAB-Establishment Panel the project covers topics such as (1) labor demand, (2) the number of internship positions, (3) investments in human and real capital, (4) productivity and profitability, (5) firm closure, and finally, (6) heterogeneous effects in border regions.
