Abstract

The project precarious employment histoires and the effect on health focuses on the effects of Job losses but also reemployment on individual health. The Background is the growing number of persons affected by precarious employment careers, which are identified by times of unemployment as well as frequent job changes. The data used is the Panel Study "Labour Market and Social Security" which includes yearly Information on the respondents general health as well as affectedness by mental problems. In waves 3,6 and 9 an additional health focus is included whichasks for the health related quality of life.
