Abstract

We investigate wage effects of inter-regional mobility of workers in a comprehensive way. The size of our data set (complete register data at cutoff dates, 1995-2002) allows us to estimate short and medium run effects for homogenous subgroups of workers, and to condition even on the region type of source and destionation district.
