Abstract

In light of Germany´s transition towards a sustainable energy system and towards sustainable mobility this paper examines differences of employment structure and wage differentials between hydrogen establishments and their sector peers. To do so, we develop a novel data set by linking company-level information from hydrogen Industry associations with employment register data of the IAB.
