Abstract

We investigate the economic behaviour of household with regard to everyday household practices. The project has two major reserach questions: How do household practices of households in Germany look like and are they driven by socioeconomic household characteristics? Can households buffer the negative consequences of financial hardship and deterioriation by applying household practices? We have developed a questionaire module for the survey Panel Labour Market and Social Security (PASS) to answer the research questions.
