By appointing persons to the Chairs of Research, IAB aims to provide its research departments with additional scientific expertise. A central aspect is the transfer of quantitative and qualitative methods. Through the active integration into and connection to IAB of outstanding, internationally renowned research professors, the research work at the Institute can be complemented in a targeted manner from the perspective of both content and concept, and the research profile of the Institute further strengthened.
