One-Euro-jobs after a 2012 reform: Target group better reached - first evaluation results
Abstract
"One-Euro-Jobs are a job creation program for welfare benefit recipients in Germany that was reformed in 2012. Our study finds that the program now reaches its target group (particularly hard-to-place unemployed) better than before the reform. Yet, overall, the reformed One-Euro-Jobs decrease participants' employment chances, and increase their benefit receipt rates, in the short to medium run. However, the effects are less adverse for some groups of participants, and may well improve in the longer run." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
