Berufe und wie sie klassifiziert werden können

Abstract

"Vocations are classified to systematically reduce their diversity. This results in categories that internally are as homogeneous as possible and as heterogeneous as possible amongst themselves. Accordingly, the new classification of vocations 2010 is based on a similarity analysis. As a result, a classification of vocations emerged that on the one hand accounts for the distinct vocation-specific structure of the German labor market. On the other hand, it enables a connection to the International Standard Classification of Occupations 2008." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
