Abstract

"The low wage sector is becoming increasingly important in Germany and is continuing to grow. To keep the social consequences of this within bounds, the call for as-wide-as-possible minimum wage regulations is becoming louder and louder in the political sphere. However minimum wages are not uncontroversial.
