Economy 4.0 and the results for the labour market and education

Abstract

"The use of new technologies that make possible an interactive connection between product, machine and manpower but also a horizontal (between company, suppliers and customers) and vertical integration (between units within an establishments) is seen an opportunity for the industrial sector. Here the results of a study are being presented which analyses the effects of 4.0 digitalisation on the economy and the labour market within a comprehensive scenario. Here the vantage point is widened in comparison to the previous 'Industry 4.0' study and the implementation of 'Industry 4.0' including the digitalisation of the service sector is taken into consideration."
