The labour market results of occupational training

Abstract

"The transition from training to employment decides which concrete occupational perspectives are opened up through the training qualification. A central aspect from the individual perspective are the labour market results that ensue after completion of the training: whether it is possible to take up stable employment, to what extent the contents learned can be brought into this job, and whether an income can be gained to enable a self-determined lifestyle. In addition, it is clear that employment perspectives and achievable income influence how attractive an occupational training is as well as the choice of career of future generations."
