Report on the Research Monitor "Variable remuneration systems"

Abstract

"The current report provides an overview of remuneration practice, that is, of monetary incentive and reward mechanisms used in German establishments. In addition to this, it is shown which groups of persons receive remuneration components particularly frequently or seldom and, in turn, in what way this is connected to various measures of the perceived quality of work. To do this, the three currently available waves of the Linked Personnel Panel were evaluated and both descriptive analyses as well as cross-sectional and longitudinal regressions carried out."
