Processing the child care quota with the help of the scientific-use-files of the Microcensus : stata-do-file

Abstract

The authors have developed a new tool for the Microcensus (Scientific-Use-File). It can be used to help calculate the childcare quota (kindergartens and daycare centres) in relation to specific federal states in Germany in the years 1991, 1993, 1995-2004. As an alternative to the stata-do file, the childcare quotas are now also available as asxlsx or dta files. (IAB)
