Flexible working times and working hours accounts : Summary Report 17/3 for the Bavarian State Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Family and Integration and the Bavarian regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency in relation to the Bavarian IAB Establishment Panel 2016

Abstract

"This report is based on the results from the Bavarian IAB Establishment Panel 2016. Since 2001, this annual nationwide survey among almost 16,000 HR managers has been extended in Bavaria with a supplementary sample funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Family and Integration. This results in approx. 1,200 interviews annually being available for the Free State of Bavaria, which are always conducted with the same companies, if possible. For Bavaria, the results are representative for all companies and offices with at least one employment relationship subject to social insurance contributions. The major part of the questionnaire with a total of 24 pages are questions that are repeated every year. In addition to that, there is a set of further questions on focus topics according to a module concept which are posed with gaps of several years, or questions on current topics.<br> Since 2001, INIFES has evaluated these surveys and created reports for the Bavarian Ministry of Labour and the Bavarian regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency.2 For some years now, this report has been published in two parts. Since 2017, i.e. with regards to the survey of late summer 2016, additional short reports have been created prior to the main report in order to present results for specific topics faster and closer to the time of the surveys.
