How a pension at 67 can succeed

Abstract

"In view of the pension at 67, much is currently being discussed about the employment possibilities of older persons. Some argue that the step-by-step raising of the age of entry into retirement is an essential prerequisite for a longer working life. Others demand that a later entry into retirement should only be introduced when the situation of older persons on the labour market has clearly improved. This is the reason why it is worthwhile taking a look at the current situation in the employment of older persons in Germany, at their further perspectives on the labour market, and at what factors influence and improve their integration into working life."
