Aim "full employment": reachable or an illusion?

Abstract

"The announcement in the electoral manifesto of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) that it intended to reduce unemployment even further in order to reach full employment in Germany by the year 2025 brought new life into the discussion on this topic.
