A socio-economic perspective on parenthood
Abstract
"This study deals with the antecedents and consequences of parenthood in one's lifetime career from a socio-economic perspective. The dissertation is quantitatively-orientated and, based on the research logic of critical rationalism, follows the aim of applying and testing socio-economic theories about parenthood. This takes the form of a cumulative dissertation consisting of four essays. It is made up of one introductory theoretical paper (synopsis) and three research papers."
