Insights: 10 years of the study "Quality of life and social security"

Abstract

With an annual number of 15,000 participants, the nationwide study "Quality of life and social security" is among the largest longitudinal surveys in Europe and is one of the most important sources of information for the social and economic sciences on questions concerning the German labour market and social state. It is particularly suitable to studying the reform of the German social state as a result of the so-called Hartz reforms. On the 10-year anniversary of the study, the brochure provides information on the themes of the study and summarizes selected research results. (IAB)
