Employment before and after unemployment benefit receipt : Half of all entries and exits are related to eight sectors

Abstract

"During the year 2013, half of all individuals taking up unemployment benefit receipt came from eight sectors, which together employed less than one third of all workers. The share of workers entering unemployment benefit receipt, however, was only for some of these sectors higher than the share of the workforce employed by the sector."
