A new start in Germany : immigrants with low skills are clearly less successful in becoming integrated into the labour market
Abstract
"This article deals with new immigration to Germany and in particular how this has changed since 2008. Of special interest are the qualifications that new immigrants have and the question of to what extent these migrants can get a foothold in the German labour market. At the same time, it is also the question of whether, and to what extent, these new immigrants differ in a sociodemographic respect from the sum of persons with a migration background already living in Germany."
