Standard instruments in organisational research
Abstract
"In organisational and management research, there have previously been no generally accepted standards for the development of questionnaires and instruments of measurement. For this reason, in this chapter, it is partially a question of the basic characteristics that a questionnaire should have if its evaluation potential is to be exploited in an optimal way. Along with this, we advocate the quality assurance of measuring instruments by means of initial cognitive tests which can provide an indication of both the formal and content-related problems inherent in the questions."
