In-house training and further training during the economic crisis

Abstract

"Using the current wave 2009 of the IAB Establishment Panel, this study examines whether in-house training and further training declined under the effect of the financial and economic crisis The analysis revealed that both forms of gaining qualifications did indeed drop when faced by the crisis. Although larger establishments were affected by the crisis more often, the analysis indicated that a reduction in training activities was observed more often at smaller establishments" (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
