Abstract

"This study will be centered around the University of Copenhagen which is the oldest and the largest Danish institution of higher learning, and from 1479 to 1927 the one and only university in the nation.<br> The emphasis will be layed on duration of study, student survival, university input and university output and finally the problem of fluctuations in demand. The latter problem will be illustrated with data from the development of sociology at the University." (Author's abstract) ((en))
