Global Entrepreneurship Monitor : Enterprise start-ups in global comparison. German Country Report 2014

Abstract

"The 15th German Country Report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) describes and explains the start-up activities in Germany in the year 2014. The empirical results for Germany are compared to innovation-based countries as well as with the data for Germany for the previous years. The analysis is based on a representative sample of 4,311 18- to 64-year-olds who were interviewed on the telephone in Germany in the Spring of 2014 (CATI method). This set of data was complemented in Germany by 40 expert interviews. For international comparison, survey data from a total of 194,479 citizens and from 2,706 experts in 70 countries were available in 2014." (Text excerpt, IAB-Doku)
