The labour market 2015 : stocktaking and requirements for action

Abstract

"Over the last ten years there has been a remarkable reversal in trend in the German labour market. Up to the middle of the last decade, unemployment rose from recession to recession. Since then, however, there has been a palpable improvement in the employment situation and even the severe economic and financial crisis of 2008/2009 had hardly any impact on the invigorated labour market.
