Qualifikation und Beruf in Deutschlands Regionen bis 2030

Abstract

"Together with the Institute for Employment Research, the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training has been compiling long-term Qualifications and Occupational Field Projections for Germany since 2007. The aim is to identify bottlenecks in the supply of qualified workers in certain segments of the labour market. For the first time, in this collected volume the results of the analysis are regionally differentiated. As both demographic and economic structures vary across regions, this leads to corresponding results for the supply of and demand for labour at the various different levels of main occupational fields and qualifications.
