Temporary agency work and in-house qualification structures

Abstract

"Parallel to its strong growth, has the branch 'temporary agency work' managed to establish itself in the segment of skilled work? Is there a difference here between growing and shrinking establishments? These questions are examined by way of panel-econometric methods using data from the IAB Establishment Panel from 2006 to 2011. The results achieved show that the qualification structure of an establishment can be seen as an important factor influencing the development of employment of temporary agency workers at the in-house level."
