The young jobless in Europe in 2013

Abstract

"The recession since 2008/09 has left clear marks on the labour market for young persons in Europe. With the exception of Germany, youth unemployment has increased markedly in almost all EU states. Even in 2013, the situation in many European states had still not improved. Particularly in the southern and eastern European countries, the threat of unemployment continues to be at a high level."
