Non-response analyses, weighting calibration and stratification for the German job vacancy survey
Abstract
"After a short introduction to the IAB-JVS (chapter 2) we will focus on a possible non-response mechanism in the sample and the use of auxiliary variables (chapter 3). Then we present the non-response survey in more detail (chapter 4) and compare the non-response survey with the IAB-JVS. We also look for mode effects in he surveys (chapter 5). In chapter 6 we introduce the R-Indicator to look for the representativeness of the surveys and in we describe the search for a new weighting and calibration schema of the survey (chapter 7). In chapter 8 the introduction of the small area estimation in the IAB-JVS has a more technical approach. This may be justified by the innovative character of this study. With the 7 implementation of the new Classifications of Occupations (chapter 9) we have also investigated much effort in the methodical integration of the classification system in a social survey."
