Solo-Selbstständige: Die Förderung bewährt sich, der soziale Schutz nicht immer
Abstract
"In the last year the increase of self-employment in Germany was mainly driven by freelancers without employees. Compared to entrepreneurs with employees many of the 'soloists' are female, rather risk averse, with higher education, little seed capital and they live in Western Germany. While these solo entrepreneurs mostly can make a living on their business as entrepreneurs do, we observe significant differences in terms of social security. Especially old-age provisions are much smaller than those of entrepreneurs." (Resume d'auteur, IAB-Doku) ((fr))
