Abstract

"Demographic change in Germany will lead to a decline in persons in employment whilst at the same time the number of persons in need of care will increase markedly. Against this background, the current article will show how this increasing need for care services can be met. Here the interdependence between formal and informal care will not only be discussed but also the options for action on the professional care market specified." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku)
