Abstract

"Successful integration into the labour market rests more and more on occupational qualifications. Even from the macroeconomic perspective, globalisation and social and technical change demand a highly qualified supply of labour. Further training and lifelong learning play a decisive role in maintaining this supply and in developing it further.
