A Start Against Obstacles : Theoretical and Empirical Analysis of the Reasons of Unemployment After Dual Vocational Education
Abstract
"Dual vocational education and training is viewed as a warrant for an unproblematic entry into safe employment. But not all those who completed dual vocational education actually succeed in this entry. Already at the beginning of working life, there are interpersonal differences that influence the further course of employment. It is thus necessary to identify the reasons for unemployment after dual vocational education. This is the initial point of this paper. The focus of the theoretical and empirical investigation is to determine the probability of entering into unemployment. As a basis, the differing willingness of firms to provide training is considered. Factors influencing the probability and length of unemployment are tested with econometric methods."
