Local labour market and economic policy: Regional differences

Abstract

"In the closely knit international economy, the crisis that began in the USA has developed into a worldwide phenomenon. Impulses for sustainable recovery must be given at this level. However the concrete course of the economic crisis is also decided in the regions. If political actors wish to develop countermeasures, regional differences must be seen as a special challenge."
