Where newly founded businesses are concerned, Germany is a desert

Abstract

"According to the results of the 'Global Entrepreneurship Monitor' (GEM) only a small number of people in Germany are trying to become self-employed. Compared to other countries, the willingness to take risks is very low and often self-employment is only chosen because there are no other alternatives." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
