The airport Berlin-Brandenburg ( BER) as a job motor: Which kind of jobs profit? : an IAB anaysis examines the expected effects on employment

Abstract

"The Berlin-Brandenburg (BER) airport is to be opened on 3 June 2012. In the public discussion, it was flight paths that were dominant most recently. However for those living in the region, the question of the employment policy effects is just as important. The regional analysis carried out by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) attempts to find an answer to this question." (author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
