Abstract

"As part of the monitoring on skilled labour for the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, this report analyses different alternatives for increasing the labor force potential based on four scenarios: Scenario 1: Increasing the labour force participation rate of women by 10 percent; Scenario 2: Increasing the labor force participation rate of older people (55 to 64 years) to the level of those five years younger; Scenario 3: Increasing the labour force participation rate of persons with foreign citizenship to the level of those with German citizenship; Scenario 4: Realisation of preferred working hours" (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
