Vorschlag und Neuzuschnitt der Arbeitsmarktregionen im Raum Berlin-Brandenburg

Abstract

"The functional labour market regions of the 'Joint Agreement for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures' are the basis for testing the eligibility of German regions for regional aid. As the present functional labour-market regions in the states of Berlin and Brandenburg overlap with regions used by the European Commission for granting regional aid, a new delimitation has become necessary for the 2007- 2013 period. This paper describes the results of the newly created functional labour-market regions in Berlin and Brandenburg by using aggregation methods for analysing commuter flows. These regions were defined as part of a report for the delimitation of assisted regions in Germany from 2007." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
