Abstract

"Our paper sketches the labour market situation of older migrants, both male and female, using data that has become newly available (...). The central questions are the following: Who are actually the members of the group of older migrants (male and female) on the labour market? What do their qualifications and occupational situations look like? How high is unemployment in the older migrant population and what does their transition from unemployment into employment look like? Does a differentiated treatment reveal different developments?"
