Abstract

"Job centers are central players in the political implementation of the so-called"Bürgergeldreform", i.e. the reform of the means-tested benefit system in Germany. Therefore, their perspective on and experiences with the reform of great importance. The article reports some selected results of a standardized online survey in job centers as part of the evaluation of the Participation Opportunities Act (Teilhabechancengesetz). The results shows that the job centers support the intended sustainable integration of jobseekers. However, the changes planned at the time concerning financial sanctions were viewed with skepticism." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
