Abstract

"On the occasion of a closed-door expert discussion of the German Bundestag’s Enquete Commission “Reviewing the Corona Pandemic and Lessons for Future Pandemic Events,” the IAB (Institute for Employment Research) issued the following statement within the framework of the working group “Economy and Employment, Economic Aid, Supply and Availability.” In addition to an overall positive assessment of the crisis management tools, the findings of research on the impact of government crisis management identify potential areas for improvement in managing future crisis of this kind."
