Abstract

"This report presents scientific findings on the long-term effects of five central labor market integration measures within the legal frameworks of SGB II and SGB III for refugee migrants. These analyses replicate the quantitative analyses conducted in a previous report (Bonin et al. 2021) based on an observation period extended by two years. With the administrative data now available until the end of 2022, the causally designed effectiveness analyses and the resulting cost-effectiveness analyses can be extended to a period of about five years after entry into five types of labor market integration measures considered here. Based on new empirical insights, policy recommendations are derived to further enhance the organization, processes, and framework conditions of labor market integration measures for refugees."
